MY TURN helps youth develop their
The facts about the drop-out rate
skills, goals, and self-confidence through alternative education, post-secondary planning, career exploration, and employment training with partnering organizations. Our programs work in concert with local partners including high-schools, employers, colleges, and social service agencies to provide a holistic approach to serving youth. MY TURN now serves youth in seven gateway cities with high rates of poverty, dropouts, and youth unemployment. Founded in 1984 MY TURN has a long history of working with employers, educational institutions, community agencies, and families to provide education, work-based learning opportunities, and jobs to youth. Since its inception, MY TURN has helped more than 20,000 youth overcome obstacles to further their education and obtain career-ladder jobs.
MY TURN provides academic remediation, career skills training, occupational skills credentialing, and "social service air-traffic-control" to help young people help themselves make successful post-secondary transitions.
